November 17th, 2018
In November 17th 2018 the Kick off Meeting was held in Eurecat headquarters so as to introduce the different organisations and institutions involved in the iBathwater project: Eurecat, ADASA, BCASA, KWB and Ajuntament de Barcelona. During this meeting different issues were defined, like the context, concept and approach, and the main objectives and the action plan were discussed.
The day after the meeting, a visit was made to the locations of the demo-sites of Barcelona, which are the Olympic Port and the Bogatell breakwater. In the Olympic Port, ADASA and BCASA explained the reasons why they suggested this area as a demo-site, while in Bogatell breakwater, BCASA showed how the sewer system works and how they think of solving the different challenges they are facing.
